Common questions and answers

What are the steps for a skincare Routine?

The steps are to cleanse, rinse, then cleanse again (the first cleanse cleans your face, the second cleanses your skin) followed by tone, serum, eye cream, moisturiser and then SPF.

How often should I exfoliate?

Exfoliation should be used twice a week to ensure dead skin cells are removed.

How often should I have a facial?

We recommend a course of one facial a week for six weeks then a monthly maintenance facial.

How often should I wash my hair?

We advise you to wash your hair no more than 2-3 times a week; constant washing removes your hair’s natural oils which help to nourish the hair. If your hair is naturally oily then more frequent washing will be required.

How do I get rid of split ends?

There is only one way of keeping on top of those trims, you can purchase products that help with the appearance but they will not remove split ends.

How do I remove gel?

Unfortunately your normal nail varnish remover just won’t cut it. Gel removal is a three step process: first – file the shine off the top layer, second – soak a cotton wool ball/pad in acetone and apply to the nail, third – wrap foil around this then leave for 15-20mins. Ideally I would always advise to have gel professionally removed just to ensure there is no damage to the nail.

How long do gel nails last?

On average gel nails last 2-3 weeks.
